The 2011 Ford Super Duty comes equipped with several all-new features that enhance the truck’s powertrain power, quality, reliability and durability. The all-new 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V-8 turbocharged diesel and the 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine, deliver significantly improved torque and horsepower as well as class-leading fuel economy. The all-new heavy-duty TorqShift® six-speed automatic transmission features all-new torque converter that locks at a lower rpm and enables a segment-first Live Drive Power Take Off (PTO). The 2011 Super Duty offers more power and larger towing capacities.
The new Super Duty offers Ford SYNC® as an available feature, giving the Super Duty voice-controlled technology and access to traffic reports, directions and information by using integrated GPS technology and Bluetooth® technologies. For added convenience, Ford Work Solutions™ is another option that features an in-dash computer that provides full high-speed internet and wireless accessories that include a printer Tool Link™, a Radio-Frequency Identification asset tracking system which provides a real-time inventory of tool and equipment in the vehicle, Crew Chief™, a diagnostics system to inform fleet managers of their fleets’ location and maintenance needs, and Cable Lock, a security system to secure large tools or equipment in the cargo area.
The interior of the 2011 Ford Super Duty includes F-150 seats, known for their comfort and convenient options like available heating and cooling, lockable underseat storage and 10-way power adjustments. Additionally, the redesigned center console offers 70 possible configurations.
